Young Angels 10th Year!!!

Young Angels of America celebrates its tenth year in Pacific Palisades with a middle school holiday dance hosted by “GLEE” cast member, Max Adler. Adler plays the closeted, gay football bully and, in real time, when not on set, he devotes time to causes related to bullying.

Mr. Adler was asked to host this event specifically because of his work playing a bully and transforming that experience into community service events such as appearing at the Young Angels dance. The dance, "Jenesse," supports the Jenesse Center, a domestic violence intervention program.

The event will be kicked off by on on-stage interview conducted by Cara Friedman, a freshman at The Brentwood School, Erica Jaffe, a sophomore at Harvard-Westlake and Jordan Ferguson, a senior at Loyola High School. Questions, created by students include (1) How has your life changed since you got this part? (2) How does it feel to play a bully? (3) What advice would you give middle school students if they are bullied? (4) Have you ever known a bully?

The event is Friday, December 14th from 7-10 PM at the Pacific Palisades Woman's Club.
901 Haverford. Grades 7-9 welcome. Tickets are available for purchase at www.youngangelsofamerica.org for $20 on line or $30 at the door.
